I wanted to write a review of this website and here I am. This is website for those who are looking for Indian Examination results. The website is called ResultSpy and you can find almost all kinds of results on this website, starting from school examination results to job interview results.

Netbooks are in the buzz here these days and most of my friends are trying to find a good offer to grab one of the new netbooks that has come in the market. We even went to take a “test-drive” yesterday in the Staples Electronic Mall.

So, why are people going crazy about these new netbooks anyway? One most important reason is that they are damn cheap and much cheaper than the normal notebook laptops. AND they are much smaller and lighter with 10.1″ VGA or LCD screen. First impression, I really love the netbooks. But ofcourse there are many disadvantages of these new series of small netbooks. But that actually depends on the usage because that “small screen” we talked about as an advantage, well that is also a disadvantage when it comes to viewing big web pages or watching videos.

One more thing I have seen in these new netbooks is their VGA screen. The picture quality in VGA is not that good. But there are some netbooks that comes with the normal laptop LCD screen and I am sure soon all the netbook models will be updated with the same.

So, bottom line, I myself am confused whether I should buy a normal notebook or a netbook. But in my opinion, you should sure buy a netbook if you already have a notebook or a desktop computer. But if you are buying it for the first time and if you are going to have just this one, go for a normal notebook laptop instead. I am sure you got my point.

A friend of mine in the Finance once told me why I should go for a loan even if I have cash in hand. I would like to discuss the point here on my blog that’s why this article is here today. So, why exactly we need a loan? Basically a loan is required when we don’t have enough money to do something or to bring home something we really want. Say for instance I want to go abroad for my higher studies or research work for which I need some money or say for instance I want to bring home Sedan but I don’t have enough cash in hand to do so. That’s where loan comes into pictures and I use to think these are the only situations where we need to apply for a loan.

But it seems like these are not the only reasons why people go for loans. The friend of mine, about whom I was taking in the beginning of the article thinks that loan can reduce your tax and also your financial extend to a great extend. According to him, there are many kinds of financial loans that can be used for tax reduction. Another reason for taking a loan is to reduce the sudden financial burden. Say if you are going to pay 2,00,000 bucks in cash, in one go for something you like, there comes a big hole in your cash reserve. Instead, according to him, we should go for an EMI option that will reduce the burden, or should I say, lighten up the burden to an extent where it can be easily managed. At this point I argued with him asking him “who is gonna pay the extra cash that will be accumulated due to high rate of interest on the loan?” Well, he thinks it is much better to invest the money on some investment plan. That way at the end of the say, it will neutralize the interest accumulated on the loan.

I think I got his point. But I would like to get some input from my readers on this point. This will serve as financial advice for the year LOL. Anyway, if you have anything to share, please don’t hesitate to leave your valuable comments here. I will love to hear your opinion.

Well, since I became a webmaster, I now need to have information on such topics. A few months back I never thought to get a dedicated server for my websites but my sites grow in traffic and bandwidth, I sure now feel the need of a dedicated server. There are also other reasons why I am now looking for a dedicated server.  Maximum uptime, data security, data loss risk and bandwidth are some of the concerns I am right now dealing with.

But the big question is, where to find a good yet cheap linux dedicated server? I have many friends who already recommended me dozens of hosting providers but the thing about web hosting is that, you never know before you try it out. One web hosting company I have tried weeks back was supposed to be a very reliable one. Everyone said it was one of the “cheap and best” and that’s why I tried it. But one fine morning when I woke up and checked my sites, all were gone. When I tried contacting the people out there in the server side, they told me “sorry” because were not able to restore databases for a few of my sites!!! They even refunded my that month’s hosting fee but that was not what I was looking for.

There was another web hosting company who shut down my site without any notice because one of site exceeded the allocated bandwidth limit. Anyway, all these problems can be solved to some extend by using a good dedicated server. But one thing is never ruled out, no matter how good your web hosting server is, and how well it is being managed, always try to backup your data from your side too, at least to be on the safer side.

When I was first time introduced to Internet by a senior friend of mine, he told me “You can find anything on the internet, and when I said anything I mean it“. In the course of time, I have realized that what he said is indeed true. If only you know how to find things on the internet, everything is available and the key to all these are the search engines.

Mastering search methods can be one of the most impressing talent for an internet geek. Because when you know how to search things, you know how to find them for free. Let’s just take an example of ebooks. There are thousands of popular books available in the market and many of them have got an electronic version. Now, if you don’t want to spend money buying these books from the local bookstore or from online stores, you can always consider the alternative – “ebook”. Let me tell you a very short story today about a boy who started out to earn some money on the internet. He was very determined and he was willing to work hard, so he decided to learn how to earn money through blogging. Yes, that was the first thing he came to know about earning online. He created a blog, started writing articles. As time goes by, he started earning a little money every now and then. He was happy but of course he was not satisfied. So, he started reading some few popular “make money” ebooks. He liked them, and the new ideas that he got from them. He thought they were indeed helpful and so, he started buying more and more such kinds of ebooks. He did put of the ideas into practice but he spent more time in trying to know how other people are making money rather than putting the ideas to action. He was working day and night but most of the time was spend on reading these ebooks and searching for more ideas online.

Well it was about two years ago. And guess what happened to the boy now? Of course he became a man by now but that’s not the point. He just realized that he should have learnt to try more rather than trying to learn more new things.

Moral of the story is that, if you are a newbie trying to earn money on the internet, don’t keep searching for information on how to earn money. I can still see so many people requesting “earn money” ebooks and tutorials in discussion forums. These people read the book, then read another book, then another and another and it continues every time a new “earn money” ebook or tutorial comes up in the market. So, if you want to earn, start doing to some serious work. Apply what you have learned. Write down what you know and start publishing them on a blog or a website. You never know when your website or blog gonna go popular among the online surfers. But don’t keep dreaming for one or trying to learn more stuff. Nothing great comes the easy way. “Effort” and “Hard Work” are things that you will need everywhere, all the time. Someone said it right “Hard work is something you need to achieve anything, not only for success, but even for failure”.

Today our office got some new teleconferencing equipment from Reliance. It looks great and we have tested it with our onsite team in Japan. We usually talk a lot with our onsite project team so as to maintain a better communication and coordination among ourselves. That way we are able to produce quality reports in time. And that’s where Teleconferencing comes in.

Well, these technologies have made our life much simplier and faster and much more efficient. Imagine what it will be like if we did not develop these technologies! What will have happen to the world? Just take our example. Today our team is working in such a scenario where we are analyzing the CDMA network of Japan. We get the logs from Japan and we analyze these logs for problems and try to solve it by giving our recommendations. These recommendations, once accepted are directly implemented into the CDMA network of Japan and the improvements are analyzed the same way as previous after some fixed period of time. That’s completely remote as we never went there and see the real problem scenario. In such a project it is vital to have a very good communication system in place so that the two team, one offshore and the other onsite, can effectively communicate the problem, analyze and implement the solution. So, basically the kind of project that we are working on is the direct result of Telecommunication Technologies. You can say “We are using Telecommunication to improve a Telecommunication Network”. Cool Huh!

That’s simply crazy and I love grabbing these kinds of offer.
